History – Mythology was founded by 3 Colorado natives and close friends while on a ski trip. Swapping awesome adventures and stories at the local watering hole, that is where the idea got sparked to make their distillery. Mythology states, “Our philosophy is that we each form our own Mythology through travel, connecting with others and our experiences. Value – The price is a little steep at 59.99, because of that I wouldn’t buy it all the time but I will rebuy it without a doubt.

Appearance – A unique bottle indeed. Not the typical round classic bottle you see every day. Somewhat of a smaller square bottle at the bottom and widens towards the top, rolling into a round neck. Dark amber in color capped off with a cork.

Nose – Caramel from the first scent followed by spicy vanilla and touches of citrus that lingers like hair on a biscuit. An overall solid nose.

Palate – Fast-hitting caramel/honey twisted by cinnamon. Followed by possibly almonds. Phenomenal start that slides off too quickly. This would be a great palate if it lasted longer.

Finish – Sweet maple with vanilla, caramel, and honey. A great finish that doesn’t slip away like the palate. Minimal burn as well.

Summary – In summary of Mythology’s Best Friend, my wife would say the best part of this product is the label due to it showcasing man’s best friend. I will say it does possess a unique appearance and I can see how it won the Worlds Spirits Competition Double Gold In 2021. It has the properties you would look for in every category. Worthwhile buy and a must-try. I’ll leave you with this from Mythology – “ Discover your spirit Animal.”
